Silvio V. Zeppieri

ONEIDA- Silvio V. Zeppieri, 89, East Grove Street, died Monday morning, October 27, 2025 in the Extended Care Facility of the Oneida Healthcare Hospital. Born in Oneida, on December 24, 1935, he was the son of Alfred and Mary Mazzoni Zeppieri. Silvio was a graduate of Oneida High School, attended Mohawk Valley Community College and served with the United States Air Force for four years. He married Sharon Bender in St. Joseph's Church on October 29, 1960. Prior to his retirement, Silvio was employed by the United States Government at various locations throughout the United States. He was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church and was active as a volunteer for various organizations. Surviving are his loving wife, Sharon; his two sons and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey and Melissa Zeppieri of Whitesboro and Steven Zeppieri of Wampsville; his grandsons, Ryan and Zachary Zeppieri; his sister, Edda Hall of Waterloo; his brother and sister-in-law, Carl and Roseann Zeppieri of Avon by the Sea, New Jersey; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Phyllis Rizzo and his brother, Robert Zeppieri. Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM, Friday from St. Joseph's Church, Oneida, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Reverend Christopher Ballard, pastor. Interment will follow at St. Helena's Cemetery, Friends may call 9:30-10:30 AM at St. Joseph's Church, prior to Mass. Contributions, in his memory, may be made to the Madison-Cortland ARC, 701 Lenox Avenue, Oneida, NY 13421. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Campbell-Dean Funeral Home, Inc. 260 Main Street, Oneida.
