What can I say that everyone who knew him doesn't already know...he is truly one of the most beautiful souls you could have ever come across. So kind, so helpful, so funny, and so-so at dominos! LoL
I met Babalooey in December of 1997 when I got stationed at Luke AFB, AZ. I worked with him every day until January 2004. We kept in touch here and there over the years, but as time went on, our lives moved along.
That certainly didn't diminish the impact he left on my life, or the wonderful memories that I have of him. Easily one of the best people ever and I feel so lucky to have known him.
My condolences to his family, heaven gained a top-tier angel today.
With love,
Jeremy Ures

Prayers to all Family and Friends. Marty (Babaloo) will be missed. I worked with him from 2001 - 2006. His big heart and sense of humor will never be forgotten. I loved turning the corner every morning waiting to see his smile and what he would say.
I tell his stories and use a ton of his one liners to this day. I even say some of the ones he said to his wife, to mine and she laughs everytime. Babloo knew my wife and our daughters. He touched so many people as a person and an Air Force Mentor. His legacy will live on for decades. He taught our job to so many people. He was the best at everything he did. And he inspired me to be a better man in everything I did. Love you Babaloo!

We are deeply grateful to have had the pleasure of working with Mr. Martinez-whom we were honored to call Marty-at Luke Air Force Base. From the moment you met him, it was clear that he was one of the kindest and most sincere people we have ever known. Marty treated everyone with genuine respect and quiet generosity, always offering a warm smile and a welcoming presence. His consistency, humility, and positive spirit left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of working alongside him, and his kindness will be remembered long after his time with us. I feel so grateful to have had the pleasure of working with Mr Martinez who I would call Marty at Luke AFB. He was the most kind and sincere person I ever met. I don´t remember ever seeing him in a bad mood. I would always walk into the workplace and he would be operating the sewing machine. He would always greet you with a big smile. I don´t think anyone could operate the sewing machine better than Marty. RIP Marty, you will be missed.
