Simon Suarez, 66, of Brady, passed away on August 24, 2024, in San Antonio. He was born in Brady to Guadalupe M. Suarez and Juanita (Sifuentes) Suarez.
He went to school in Brady. Simon worked in lawn care and had his own business S & M Lawn Care, for over 20 years. He loved fishing with his sisters Mary and Rita, going for long walks and going to the gym. Simon never knew a stranger, always had a smile and loved to tell jokes and stories. He loved his family and was very close to his daughter Ashley.
Simon is preceded by his parents Guadalupe and Juanita Suarez, infant sister Juanita Suarez, Grandfather Thomas Sifuentes, Grandparents Pabla and Simon Suarez Sr., Uncle Julian Suarez and granddaughter Jessa Hickman.
He is survived by his children Simon (Patricia) Suarez of San Angelo, Ashley (Benny) Hickman of San Antonio, Seth (Miranda) Suarez of Seguin, Sterling Suarez of San Antonio, sisters Pauline (Ross) Null of Cedar Park, Tomasa (Johnny) Soto of Brady, Janie Suarez Rider of Lohn, Mary (Michael) Dent of Naples, Florida, Rita (Reginald) Perry of Peyton, Colorado, Gabriela Suarez of Cedar Park, brothers Michael (Teresa) Suarez of Colorado Springs, Guadalupe Jr. (Darla) Suarez of Giddings, grandchildren Eli Hickman, Mystique, Carmen, Halo, and Lathan Suarez and stepchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation and Rosary will be held from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at Heritage Funeral Home of Brady.
Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, August 29, 2024, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Brady. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Cemetery in Brady.
Pallbearers will be Benny Hickman, Lathan Suarez, Sterling Suarez, Seth Suarez, Michael Rider, Fernando Aaron Torrez, Michael Suarez, and Isaiah Suarez. Honorary pallbearer Guadalupe Suarez Jr.
Funeral Arrangements are entrusted to Heritage Funeral Home of Brady.
