Simona Nicole Snedaker, 18, of Wilton, departed this world on January 31, 2024. Simona was born on April 18, 2005 in Bryn Mawr, PA and was raised in Nashua and Wilton, NH.
She is mourned by her parents Amy Snedaker-Hamilton, Svetlana Yanushkevich, David Gregory, and Richard Hamilton. Simona was loved and admired by her younger sisters Nadia Yanushkevich, Tara Hamilton, Molly Hamilton, Elise Gregory, Emma Gregory and Taylor Gregory. She is also survived by her grandparents Nancy Fuller and Bill Fuller, Maria Gregory,
and Carl and Teresa Snedaker; and her aunts Sarah Fuller, Melyssa Fuller, and Emily Shepard; and uncles Joshua Fuller, Kenneth Gregory, and Luke Gregory; as well as many cousins.
Simona was predeceased by her grandmother Klavdia Yanushkevich, and her great-grandparents, Harry and Kathleen Mattimore.
Simona was a beautiful, creative, and passionate young woman, and is affectionately remembered for her strong will, free-spirited nature, and quirky sense of humor. She spent much time with her pets, including her beloved cat Pasha, her many hermit crabs, and collection of exotic insects. Simona had a deep connection to animals and nature, spending much time outdoors: where throughout her childhood she loved to catch insects, amphibians, and reptiles; swim and explore in the woods, garden, and escape to rest and listen to music under her favorite trees. She was an artist; sharing her gifts through painting, knitting, and sculpture. She was an avid reader of nonfiction, classic fiction, and the Bible. She loved to play board games with her family, and always had a Mad Libs book for endless late-night laughs.
Simona worked at the Dunkin Donuts in Milford during her time as a student at Wilton- Lyndeborough Cooperative High School, and was living in Plymouth NH with her boyfriend Corey Bixby and working as a Doordash deliver driver at the time of her death.
Those whose lives she touched and left behind will heal, but they will never be the same.
The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit. - Psalm 34:18
A Celebration of Life is planned for Thursday April 18, details to follow.

Simona was by far the most unique and special person I ever have met and probably ever will. I think of you everyday and I look forward to seeing you again. So we can be reunited and by God, I pray, together forever. You're worth that to me and more. I still can't believe you're gone sometimes, and I might never. I know you're looking down at me proud of holding on and strengthening through. I hear your messages and see your signs that you want me to move on. That I have my whole life to live and to live it peacefully and move on. But I really just want you baby. It's hard that I can't have you back physically but I feel you here with me some nights. I feel your presence. And I've seen so many signs from you. Like the dragon fly. The rainbow around the moon. It's not just coincidence. I love you my sweet little fox. It's an honor to have had you in my life Simona. Simona Bixby was to be your name but we didn't get that far. We will in the next life. I'll be there for you 100%

Rest easy and ill be there soon my love.

I met Simona at church in Wilton. She loved sharing Dunkin Donuts k-cups with me and we talked about her family and her pets. Her beauty shined from within.
I´m so sorry to hear of passing. Take peace in knowing that she left joy here for us all to share.

I knew Simona from church. I always enjoyed talking with her and watching her make beautiful crocheted things.
I loved hearing her read the Bible out loud. She read with such authority and passion. I could feel her love for God every time she spoke His name. My heart broke when I heard of her passing. But through the sadness, I can´t help but smile thinking about the sweet peace she is enjoying in Heaven right now. She had faith in Jesus alone to get her to heaven and I rest in the fact that she is safe in the arms of Jesus now. We miss you Simona. Our prayers are with those you left behind.

We express our deepest sympathy to Amy and her family and the Gregory family, Dave, Erta, Elise, Emma, Taylor. We knew Simona through the Gregory family. We went to the sandwich fair together, the sled dog races in Laconia and to her birthday party at the Gregories. We wish everyone peace. Love, Wendy & Gerry Tetrault

One of our first memories of Simona was when she came to visit us and went hiking with Dave, Rich and Amy. Dave became known as "Dave Danger" at that time and the title has stuck. We are very sorry for your loss. Prayers for peace and healing.
