Sis. Rebecca B. Bacots, 76, of McComb, MS, departed this earthly life on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel, MS.

12:00pm-1:00pm visitation Saturday, March 14, at East Fernwood Baptist Church; service following at 1:00pm, Pastor Jimmie J. Wilson officiating; burial following in Pleasant Valley COGIC Cemetery.

Rebecca B. Bacots was born on January 1, 1950, in McComb, MS, to Virgil and Georgia.

She was a member of the Usher Board and a faithful prayer warrior; she also served on many other church committees. She was employed at Croft Metals.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Eugene Bacot; a daughter, Lakisha Bacot; and 2 brothers, Tommie Bullock and George.

She leaves to cherish her memories, one daughter Metilda (James) Addison; one grandson Elijah Bacot; 3 sisters Annie (Henry) Pittman, Virgie Issac, and Mary Brown, all of McComb, MS; two brothers Bobby Bullock and Oliver Bullock, both of Tylertown, MS; one sister-in-law Charlene Bullock of Pontiac, MI; a special son Micheal (Katherine) Smith of Tylertown, MS; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
