He is survived by his wife, Pat Buehrle (nee' Schuenemeyer) of Washington; three children: Scott Buehrle and wife Annie of Beaufort, Shanna Brinker and husband Paul of Washington, and Sammi Blankenship and husband Jerod of Leslie; five grandchildren: Maddie Buehrle, Nora Brinker, Luke Brinker, Allie Blankenship, and Raegan Blankenship; nine siblings: Rich Buehrle (Donna) of MI, Carol Hendrix of St. Charles, Chris Cummins (Roger) of TX, Sue Hercules (Bill) of St. Charles, Geri Lewis (Rick) of St. Charles, Karen Sanders (Clint) of Lee's Summit, Ronnie Buehrle (Laura) of Troy, Tom Buehrle (Cathy) of St. Charles, and Jeff Buehrle (Christine) of Lake St. Louis; sisters-in-law: Joan Buehrle of Granite City, IL, Rachel Buehrle of OK, and Pam Griffin and husband Ronnie of Union; brother-in-law, Paul Schuenemeyer of Union; along with many nieces and nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.
Skip was preceded in death by his parents, Glennon and Mary (nee' Boschert) Buehrle; two brothers, Ken Buehrle and Kevin Buehrle; parents-in-law, Norman and Henrietta "Hank" (nee' Herberholz) Schuenemeyer; and sister-in-law, Kelly Schuenemeyer (nee' Mense).
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, December 1, 2025 at Zion United Church of Christ in Union, MO with Rev. Nicholas Knoblauch officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation for 74-year-old Skip Buehrle will be held from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Sunday, November 30, 2025 at Oltmann Funeral Home in Union, MO. Visitation will resume at 10:00 AM on Monday at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Zion UCC-Building & Properties Fund or American Legion Post 297.
