Snower Deloach, a cherished member of the community in Arkadelphia was born on January 10, 1962, Snower was a beloved daughter of Willie Marie Deloach and a dear sister to Vanessa, Renetta, and Beverlyn.
She was accepted Christ at a tender age and was a member of Piney Grove AME Church. Snower was a 1980 graduate of Arkadelphia High School and in the spring of 1985, she enrolled at Henderson State University.
Passionate about music, Snower shared her beautiful voice with the choir at St. Paul AME Church, where she was a valued member. Her warm smile and welcoming nature brightened the lives of all who crossed her path, embodying the true spirit of kindness.
Throughout her life, Snower dedicated her time to working as a Computer Analyst in the Federal Government sector at Lockheed Martin. Her commitment and expertise left a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of working alongside her.
In her free time, Snower took pleasure in the simple things, from shopping treasures to enjoying the soulful sounds of gospel and blues music. While she herself did not have children, she adored her nieces and nephews, showering them with love and care as if they were her own.
Snower passed from this life on September 10, 2024. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and her sisters, Renetta Deloach (December 1, 2017), and Beverlyn Williams (September 24, 2022).
Because love is greater than death she will live on in the hearts of her sister, Vanessa Delamar of Arkadelphia; nieces, Carla Delamar Kress (Gary) and Taneka Saldana (Ucatavio) both of Arkadelphia; great nieces and nephews, Octavio Saldana, Corbin Saldana, and Sabrina White, as well as great-great nieces and nephews. She also leaves a host of cousins, friends, and the St. Paul AME Church and Lockheed Martin families.
Homegoing services will be at noon on Saturday, September 21, 2024, at St. Paul AME Church with Rev. T. W. Scott, eulogist, and Superintendent Leroy Williams, officiant. The interment will be at Piney Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 12 noon until 6:00 p.m. on Friday, September 20, 2024, at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Kenneth Jones, Derrick White, Eric Davis, Dean Chafford, Victor Norman, Jr., Elder Gerry Young, Roderick Murdock, Jerodrick Coleman, and Levi Garland. Honorary pallbearers will be Wayne Murdock, Frederick Middleton, and Silas Fitzgerald.
