Socorro Delgado

Socorro Delgado, age 53, of Aurora, Illinois, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 23, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 13, 1972, in Mexico.
Socorro was loving and caring, always putting others before herself. She brought joy into every room she entered and had a remarkable gift for making others laugh and lifting their spirits. Brave, hardworking, and deeply devoted to her family, she faced every challenge with unwavering strength. She gave her all, fought with extraordinary courage, and remained strong until the very end. Now at rest, she will continue to watch over her family from heaven, just as faithfully as she cared for them here on earth.
Socorro is survived by her devoted husband, Cirilo Garcia; her children, Berenice Garcia, Oscar Garcia, and Alberto Garcia; and her mother, Virginia Delgado. She is also lovingly remembered by her siblings, Junior (Olga) Delgado, Rogelio (Norma) Delgado, Carmela Delgado, Patricia (Crecencio) Delgado, Juana (Gabriel) Delgado, Francisco (Ines) Delgado, Lorenzo (Mague) Delgado, and David (Marta) Delgado.
Additional survivors include her mother-in-law, Delfina Ramirez; her sisters-in-law, Luisa (Noel) Soto, Maria (Enrique) Flores, Maria (Eulalio) Encarnacion Arzola, Ernestina (Jorge) Cepeda, and Veronica (Jaime) Corral; as well as many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 28, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Beidelman-Kunsch Funeral Homes & Crematory, 24021 Royal Worlington Drive, Naperville, Illinois.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Therese of Jesus Catholic Church, 271 N. Farnsworth Avenue, Aurora, Illinois.
Interment will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Aurora, Illinois.
Socorro Delgado, de 53 años, de Aurora, Illinois, falleció pacíficamente el domingo 23 de noviembre de 2025, rodeada del amor de su familia. Nació el 13 de octubre de 1972 en México.
Socorro fue una mujer amorosa y bondadosa, siempre poniendo a los demás antes que a ella misma. Llenaba de alegría cada lugar al que llegaba y tenía un don especial para hacer reír y animar a quienes la rodeaban. Valiente, trabajadora y profundamente dedicada a su familia, enfrentó cada desafío con una fortaleza inquebrantable. Dio todo de sí, luchó con un coraje extraordinario y se mantuvo fuerte hasta el último momento. Hoy descansa en paz y seguirá cuidando de su familia desde el cielo, tal como lo hizo con tanto amor aquí en la tierra.
Socorro deja en vida a su amado esposo, Cirilo García; a sus hijos, Berenice García, Oscar García y Alberto García; y a su madre, Virginia Delgado. También la recuerdan con cariño sus hermanos: Junior (Olga) Delgado, Rogelio (Norma) Delgado, Carmela Delgado, Patricia (Crecencio) Delgado, Juana (Gabriel) Delgado, Francisco (Ines) Delgado, Lorenzo (Mague) Delgado y David (Marta) Delgado.
Además, le sobreviven su suegra, Delfina Ramírez; sus cuñadas, Luisa (Noel) Soto, María (Enrique) Flores, María (Eulalio) Encarnación Arzola, Ernestina (Jorge) Cepeda y Verónica (Jaime) Corral; así como numerosos sobrinos, sobrinas y queridos amigos.
La velación se llevará a cabo el viernes 28 de noviembre de 2025, de 2:00 p.m. a 8:00 p.m., en Beidelman-Kunsch Funeral Homes & Crematory, 24021 Royal Worlington Drive, Naperville, Illinois.
La Misa de Funeral se celebrará el sábado 29 de noviembre de 2025, a las 11:00 a.m., en la Iglesia Católica St. Therese of Jesus, ubicada en 271 N. Farnsworth Avenue, Aurora, Illinois.
El sepelio tendrá lugar en el cementerio Mount Olivet, en Aurora, Illinois.
