Steven David Schneider

Steven D. Schneider, aged 75, passed away on November 24, 2025.
Steven is survived by his loving wife Christine; his children Alyson (Donald) Wozniak and Bradley (Elizabeth Anne Quinn) Schneider; his grandchildren Edward, Zachary, Alexandra, Benjamin and Leah; his sister Donna Sorkin, his brother-in-law Michael Newman and many beloved nieces, nephews and friends. Steven is preceded in death by his parents Hortense and Edward Schneider and his sister Linda Newman.
Steven took great pride in his work as an attorney first at the Federal Reserve, then in private practice and finally as in-house counsel at Citibank, Travelers International and Diners Club International, ending his career there as Senior Vice President and General Counsel.
When health issues forced his early retirement, Steven filled his later years doing volunteer work at Central DuPage Hospital, DuPage Children's Museum and SciTech Hands On Museum. He enjoyed all things Porsche related, tinkering on his computer, history shows and consulting with his trusty Consumer Reports about all purchases, big or small.
Services will be held on November 26, 2025 at Beidelman-Kunsch Funeral Home, 516 S. Washington St., Naperville at 10am with visitation beginning at 9am. Interment to follow at Wheaton Cemetery.
