Socorro Rodriguez Hernandez, 86, born December 24, 1938, in Coahuila, Mexico and passed away on August 10, 2025, in Davis, Oklahoma.

Socorro was born in a small-town named Nuevo Mundo, Coahuila Mexico. She was the daughter of Augustine and Domitila Rodriguez. She was the second child of eight children. She lived a life of service- service to God, her family, and those around her.

She was preceded in death by: her parents Augustine and Domitila Rodriguez, husband Carlos Hernandez, siblings Ruben Rodriguez, Consuelo Gonzalez, Jesus Rodriguez, Juan -Martin Rodriguez, Rafael Rodriguez, and Son David Hernandez.

She is survived by: Sisters, Emma Rodriguez and Gloria Rodriguez

Her children; Raul Rodriguez and wife Irma Rodriguez, Elizabeth H. Torres and husband Eddie Torres, Daughter in-law Eva Hernandez, Fidencio Hernandez and wife Gloria Hernandez, Carlos Hernandez, Olga Patricia Hernandez, Erika H. Lopez and husband Andy Lopez, Ruth H. Torres, and Samuel Rodriguez and wife Lisa Rodriguez.

Grandchildren; Raul Rodriguez Jr., Eli Rodriguez, Joshua Rodriguez and wife Cindy Rodriguez, Abigail Rodriguez, Lizzette Yglecias and husband Jon Yglecias, Victoria Garcia and husband Erik Garcia, Nayeli Torres, Noemi Torres, Jose Luis Carrasco and husband Jeff Freeman, Travis Welch and wife Jenny Welch, Carlos Hernandez, Savanna Hernandez, Dakota Olivia Strader, Sahara Sophia Strader, Jazmine Lopez, Karla Lopez, Evey Torres, Emily Rodriguez, Joshua Rodriguez, Jonathan Rodiguez.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. with a funeral service beginning at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 20, 2025 at Perches Funeral Homes-East. Burial service will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.

Socorro nació en un pequeño pueblo llamado Nuevo Mundo, Coahuila, México. Fue hija de Agustín y Domitila Rodríguez. Fue la segunda de ocho hijos. Vivió una vida de servicio: servicio a Dios, a su familia y a quienes la rodeaban.

La visitacion se llevará a cabo de 9:00 a.m. a 1:00 p.m., con un servicio funerario que comenzará a las 11:00 a.m. el miércoles 20 de agosto de 2025 en Perches Funeral Homes-East. El servicio de entierro se realizará posteriormente en el Cementerio Nacional de Fort Bliss.
