With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Socorro Perez, a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished sister, and treasured friend, who left this world on April 7, 2025, at the age of 55. Born in Zacatecas, Mexico, Socorro brought light, warmth, and kindness into every space she entered. At the age of 21, she married the love of her life, Ruben Perez, and together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and unwavering dedication to their family. Socorro's greatest joy in life was her family. As a mother of five, she poured her heart into raising her children with patience, compassion, and boundless love. She is the heart of her home. Throughout her life, Socorro faced many health challenges and spent much time in and out of the hospital. Despite the hardships, she never lost the warmth in her heart or the strength in her spirit. Her kindness, generosity, and deep love for those around her touched the lives of everyone she met. On April 7, 2025, Socorro passed at Kaweah Health Medical Center following a heart attack. She is survived by her beloved husband Ruben Perez, her five children, and her mother. She also leaves behind siblings, extended family, and many friends who were all blessed by her presence. Socorro will be remembered for her big heart, her quiet strength, and the love she radiated in everything she did - from cooking meals for her family to the warm conversations shared with her loved ones. Her family invites all who knew and loved her to join in remembering Socorro and the incredible impact she made in her 55 years of life. Con el corazón lleno de tristeza, anunciamos el fallecimiento de Socorro Perez, una esposa devota, madre amorosa, hermana querida y amiga invaluable, quien partió de este mundo el 7 de abril de 2025, a la edad de 55 años. Nacida en Zacatecas, México, Socorro trajo luz, calidez y bondad a cada lugar que pisó. A los 21 años, se casó con el amor de su vida, Ruben Perez, y juntos construyeron una vida llena de amor, risas y una dedicación inquebrantable a su familia. La mayor alegría de Socorro en la vida fue su familia. Como madre de cinco hijos, entregó su corazón en criarlos con paciencia, compasión y un amor sin límites. Ella es la alma de su hogar. A lo largo de su vida, Socorro enfrentó muchos desafíos de salud y pasó mucho tiempo dentro y fuera del hospital. A pesar de las dificultades, nunca perdió la calidez de su corazón ni la fortaleza de su espíritu. Su bondad, generosidad y profundo amor por quienes la rodeaban tocaron la vida de todos los que la conocieron. El 7 de abril de 2025, Socorro falleció en el Centro Médico Kaweah Salud, tras un ataque al corazón. Le sobreviven su amado esposo Ruben Perez, sus cinco hijos y su madre. También deja a sus hermanos, familia extendida y amigos que fueron bendecidos por su presencia. Socorro será recordada por su gran corazón, su fuerza silenciosa y el amor que irradiaba en todo lo que hacía, desde cocinar para su familia hasta las cálidas conversaciones compartidas con amigos.
