Sofia Macrina Obituary
Sofia was fond of her older sister, Aurora R., the two shared many treasured "sister times" including reading and watching Disney movies. Sofia, who was named after the Disney princess, loved to visit the magical Walt Disney World. Her favorite Disney movies like Coco, Enchanto, Moana, and Vamperina were often playing at home.
She was fascinated with watching lights while listening to music. She delighted in taking walks, bath time, and getting her toosies rubbed, but really enjoyed anything that included time with mom, dad, and Aurora. She treasured the time with her friends at Whitfield Elementary, where she completed first grade.
Sofia did have a "sassy side" and she would let you know with an eye roll or a side glance. She lived everyday according to her mantra, "making my way, it's an adventure everyday".
The hopes and dreams for Sofia will be cherished by her parents; sister; grandparents, Samuel A. and Lynda Macrina and Phil A. and Rhonda M. Putt; her aunts and uncles, Jennifer L. Auman (Daniel), Timothy S. Macrina (Katie), Mark W. Macrina (Jamie), Bethany A Miller (Christopher), and Trista L. Putt (George Freeling); and her many cousins that she loved, who blessed her life.
A Celebration of Life for Sofia will be held on Monday, July 1, 2024 at 11 AM at Kuhn Funeral Home, 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading, PA 19611. The visitation will begin at 9:00 AM until the time of the service. The service will be webcasted. The link for the webcast can be found on Sofia's page from kuhnfuneralhomes.com.

Dear Dan, Vanessa, and Aurora,
My utmost condolences to you with the loss of Sofia. I know it's been a very trying time for all of you but you were stead fast in your efforts to give her the best quality of life from day one. I am heartbroken for you and this terrible loss. Take comfort she is now at peace and her memory will certainly live on. I'm sorry I missed the celebration of life, but I was unaware what had occured until after it was over. May God bless Sofia, and your family as well/
