Eileen Macrina

Eileen (Piatt) Macrina, 80, passed away peacefully on September 17, 2024, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg. She was born on February 2, 1944, in Meadville, Pennsylvania, where she spent her childhood before moving to West Palm Beach, Florida. She spent most of her adult life in Northwest Ohio. She gave her time volunteering for the American Cancer Society, as an election poll worker, and later worked in the registrar's office at the University of Toledo as well as Hickory Farms. She was an avid walker who also loved reading and visiting Walt Disney World.

Eileen was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 53 years, Robert (Bob) Macrina; her sister, Chloe Piatt; and parents, James W. and Anita Miller Piatt. She is survived by her children, Craig (Kristen) Macrina, daughter, Michele (Mike) Daum; and daughter, Karen Macrina; as well as five grandchildren, Katelyn, Marissa, Mason, Cortni, Callie; and her rescue cat, LuLu.

Services for Eileen will be private.
