Sondra Sue Craven, affectionately known to many as Sue, passed away peacefully on September 8, 2025, in Greensboro, North Carolina, at the age of 83. Born on October 10, 1941, in Man, West Virginia, Sue was the beloved daughter of the late Lomer T. Riley and Eleanor Riley.

Sue's early years were spent in the close-knit community of Man, where she graduated from Man High School. She pursued further education at Marshall University in West Virginia, showcasing her dedication to learning and personal growth.

In 1961, Sue married the love of her life, James A. Craven Sr., in High Point, NC. Together, they shared many cherished years filled with love, laughter, and companionship.

Professionally, Sue dedicated her career to the Koury Corporation as a Computer Programmer. Her colleagues remember her as a diligent and innovative professional who contributed significantly to her field.

Outside of work, Sue found joy in the tranquility of gardening and the companionship of her beloved pets. These interests brought her immense happiness and allowed her to cultivate a nurturing environment both at home and in her community.

Sue is preceded in death by her parents, Lomer T. Riley and Eleanor Riley. She leaves behind her cherished daughter, Sherri Minor, along with numerous friends and extended family members who will miss her dearly.

The memory of Sue's warmth, kindness, and unwavering spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
