Sondra Dron Obituary
Sondra began her career at Southern New England Bell and later continued with Bell South/ATT in Wilmington in business sales until her retirement. After retiring from Bell South, she devoted her time to Myrtle Grove Presbyterian Church, where she worked as an assistant teacher for the First Grade class. She had a special love for all of the children she taught. Sondra was a dedicated member of Myrtle Grove Presbyterian Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Emerson Dotson and Bertha Powers Dotson, and her sisters, Freddie Reavis, Patty Dotson, and Nita Warawa.
Sondra is survived by her loving husband David Dron. She was a devoted and loving wife for 52 years. Sisters, Connie Anderson of Augusta, WV, and Nelda Parker of Warrenton, VA; as well as many cherished nieces and nephews.
Services to honor Sondra's life will be held at 11 am on Monday, July 15, 2024, at Myrtle Grove Presbyterian Church 806 Piner Road Wilmington led by Pastor Stacy Miller. Burial will follow at Oleander Memorial Gardens. Visitation will begin at 10 am until the time of service.
Sondra will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
