Sondra Jolly Obituary

Sondra Jolly
August 29, 1962 - April 25, 2025
Sondra was born in Champaign, IL, to Lois and H.C. "Bud" Jolly. In 1978, she arrived in Wenatchee and hit the ground running. She worked multiple jobs including in the office for the Fire Department and at Garden Terrace Independent Senior Living where she did everything from room renovations to grounds keeping to bookkeeping. She developed lifelong friendships with the residents and her coworkers. During her time at Garden Terrace she was blessed with the birth of her first daughter, Brenda. Sondra absolutely loved holding and caring for babies and she loved being a mother. The residents also enjoyed spending time with her new baby.
Sondra pursued her passion for working with numbers and obtained a combined accounting and data processing degree in 1985 which landed her a job at the Wenatchee Valley Clinic/Confluence Health in 1986. She spent the next 33 years working in various departments including; data processing, the business office, IT, business intelligence and accountable care. She was primarily in supervisory roles with staff sizes up to 30 people. Her hard work, organization, dedication, and proficiency resulted in success in all roles.
During her time at Confluence, her family continued to grow. She was blessed with her second daughter, Sara in 1993. She married Bruce in 1999 and in 2000 they all welcomed their granddaughter, Brenda's daughter, Clara. She was extremely proud of the successful grown women the girls became.
Sondra had many hobbies and interests, most of which involved being outdoors and physically active. She loved her pets, gardening, gym workouts, hiking, camping, travelling and collecting rocks.
In 2019 Sondra began working as office manager for her church. She really enjoyed helping and serving. She retired from that position in 2023. Her strong faith in Jesus and her determination combined to allow her live a full life enjoying all her active interests while living with cancer since 2022.
She is survived by her husband, Bruce; daughters, Brenda and Sara; granddaughter, Clara; mother, Lois; brother, Craig; sister, Susan; and brother, Charles. She is preceded in death by her father, "Bud".
