Sonny Loving

Sonny Gene Loving, age 68, of Golden, Oklahoma, died on Friday, November 7, 2025, at OSU Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born on Wednesday, July 3, 1957, to Coy Joe Loving and Willie Mae Thompson Duncan in Idabel, Oklahoma.
Sonny was a hardworking man who truly enjoyed life and the people around him. He spent many years as a skilled building contractor, taking great pride in his work and the projects he completed. After retiring, Sonny continued to stay busy doing the things he loved most-playing the keyboard and making music with family and friends, working on cars and tractors, and bartering or trading with anyone who shared his love for a good deal. His easygoing nature, strong work ethic, and love for his family and friends will always be remembered.
Sonny was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Troy Loving and Jacky Loving and two sisters, Levita Alexander and Debra Loving.
Sonny is survived by his three brothers, Ricky Loving of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, Tony Loving of Idabel, Oklahoma and Randy Loving of Broken Bow, Oklahoma; two special nephews, Dustin Loving of De Queen, Arkansas and Colton Loving of Broken Bow, Oklahoma; several other nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at 3:00 P.M. at the Broken Bow Cemetery with Brother Ron Whittle officiating. No visitation planned. Arrangements are entrusted to Bowser Family Funeral Home in Broken Bow, Oklahoma.
