Sonya gave birth to one child - a dedicated and loving daughter, Kristin Couch of Decatur, Georgia. Sonya's husband is Jacque Leeds Jr., and they resided in Columbus Georgia. Sonya's parents are both deceased (Thaddeus Hudson Jr and Elease M. Hudson), and she is one of ten siblings: Gwendolyn Perkins (Austin TX): Jacqueline DuBose (Lawrenceville GA); Leonard Hudson (Wilmer TX); Gary Hudson (deceased); Thaddeus Hudson IIl (Columbus GA); Denise Hudson (Midland GA), Larry Hudson (Clanton AL, spouse Denise); Patrick Hudson (Columbus GA): and Wyonda Hudson (deceased).
On March 10, 2025, following a brief illness, Sonya passed away peacefully in Columbus, Georgia, surrounded by family and friends.
Towards the end of the Service for Wyonda on Friday, March 28, 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Pavilion at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery there will be a Remembrance Ceremony to Celebrate the life of Sonya Hudson. Send flowers to the service of Sonya Hudson

I will never forget my beautiful friend Sonya. We shared many memories at Carver High school especially in The Blue Guitar "Creative Writing" class. We discovered we loved writing poetry. She just reminded me of a poem I wrote in class titled, Pretty Feet.
I don't know how she remembered that particular one but she did and we both laughed about it. And on our 1980 class reunions, Sonya would call me and tell me... I want to work on the same committee you are on. I would always proudly let her know. So we could get our heads together and talk and laugh and try to get things done. This photo memory is at my 60th Birthday celebration you and your sweet daughter Kristin came to celebrate me! I will cherish these wonderful joyfilled moments forever.
