Sophia Senitha Bell was born February 5, 1965 to her loving parents, Mackajah Bell and Eleanor Bell, in Bridgeport, CT. She entered eternal rest on June 21, 2024.
Sophia spent many years in Bridgeport, where she was known for her strong, generous, and direct spirit. She had a remarkable ability to bring joy to those around her with her infectious laughter and radiant smile. Her love for making others laugh and smile was one of her most endearing qualities.
Her commitment to her community was evident in her long and dedicated service at St. Joseph Senior Home in Trumbull, Connecticut, where she worked since 1986.
She leaves to cherish her loving and lasting memories: her father Mackajah Bell and her mother Eleanor Bell. She is also survived by her brother Jeffrey Bell and her sister Leonia Bell.
Her memory will be fondly kept alive by her nephew Geoffrey Lewis Bell Watson, her niece Kaliyma Morgan, and her nephews Kyle Morgan and Jaden Bell. Sophia was a beloved great-aunt to Alyena Bailey and Ptah Bell. Sophia's legacy of kindness, strength, and dedication, as well as her gift for spreading joy, will forever be remembered by her family, friends, and all who were fortunate to know her.

Though time and life's twists and turns led us down separate paths, this news brought back a flood of memories that remind me of the bond we once shared. I remember the laughter, the conversations, and moments on my grandmom“s porch that defined our friendship. I am sad we lost touch over the years; however, you will always hold a special place in my heart and your memory will continue to live on through our stories and experiences. You may be gone from this world, but you will never be forgotten!
