Sora Furio

Sora Furio, age 54, a loving mother and adoring wife, passed away in the early hours of 3 July 2025 after a courageous battle with stomach cancer. Sora was born in 1971 in Gwangju, South Korea and grew up surrounded by her large family, she had 5 other siblings 4 sisters and 1 brother. Sora was influenced by the love and caring of her family that showed that she was a loving and caring woman, always giving to others through her love of cooking, that was an important part of her life that could also be seen in the love and caring of her children. She met her husband Frank in 2000 while working as a cook in a small restaurant in Pyeongtaek, South Korea. Sora and Frank fell in love and knew they both shared a love for family and decided to share a life of love with their
children together. As a mother she was generous, loving and kind. She loved all three of their children and loved to spoil them as much as she possibly could in her time with them, Sora loved to cook and travel with her family as often as possible. She believed it was very important to stay active. She will be greatly missed by her family and especially her husband Frank and their daughter Chong and her sons Jang and Joseph who adored her with all their hearts.
Sora is survived by her husband Frank, her daughter Chong, and her 2 Sons Joseph and Jang.
There will be a celebration of her life in the near future but currently no venue hasbeen selected.
