Srorn Kim

Srorn Kim, 61, of Lowell, MA, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at Brigham and Women's Hospital, surrounded by her devoted family, following a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Battambang, Cambodia, Srorn was the beloved daughter of the late Veng Teng and Kem Chheng. She was the treasured wife of her devoted husband, Ratha Sao, with whom she shared a life of love and partnership.
In Cambodia, Srorn began her culinary journey by selling -in the local market, a testament to her hard work and resilience. In 2009, she immigrated to the United States, where she worked tirelessly to create a bright future for her family. She proudly became a U.S. citizen, embracing her new home while cherishing her cultural roots.
Srorn was known for her exceptional cooking, which brought joy and comfort to her family and friends. She found great fulfillment in tending to her garden and nurturing its beauty. Her love for singing karaoke filled her home with music and laughter, a reflection of her spirited and joyful nature. She especially cherished family trips to Canada and beaches, where she found peace and happiness surrounded by her loved ones.
Srorn is deeply missed by her husband, Ratha, and her three cherished children: Ranith Sao, Martha Sao, and Danech Sao, all of Lowell. She is lovingly remembered by her two grandchildren, as well as her extended family and countless friends who were touched by her kindness, warmth, and unwavering generosity.
Srorn's legacy of love, resilience, and devotion to family will live on in the hearts of all who knew her."
