My name is Dennis Dickey and I am the Quartermaster at VFW Post 9401 Lake Havasu City, Az 86403 and a Vietnam Veteran. I am writing this note to tell that we are doing a Tribute Wall to Veterans. I would like your permission to honor him with memorial tile on our wall. What caught my eye was that my Fathers name was Carlos Dickey. If someone would email me back at [email protected] I would gladly send them a copy of our Veterans Wall .

I didn't know SSG Dickey, but I wanted to leave my respects as I served in a sister unit 2/67th Armor in the Late 80's. I'm sorry for your loss, and will pray for you, and thank the lord for him working to defend this nation.

My condolences to Carlos' family and friends. I am a Navy vet and though I did not know Carlos, I am grateful for his distinguished service to our Country. It is the brave like him who keep our Country safe. May fond memories be of comfort going forward. The Army slogan is "Be all you can be" - Carlos exemplified that and then some. RIP
