Stacey William Daniel, 55, passed away peacefully at his home in Jerome, Idaho, on June 11, 2024.
Born on October 14, 1968, in Jerome, Idaho, to Patricia and Gerald Daniel, Stacey faced a sudden diagnosis of terminal brain cancer. Despite the difficult news, he bravely maintained his sense of humor and loving spirit until the end.
Stacey built a successful career as a semi-truck driver, dedicating thirty years to the profession, including close to a decade over the road. For the past nine and a half years, he was a valued member of the Giltner Transportation team and often spoke fondly of his time there.
A native Idahoan, Stacey felt at home in the great outdoors. He loved fishing, camping, hunting, and attending old car shows. As a thrill-seeker, Stacey also enjoyed frequent trips to Jackpot and had a passion for riding his motorcycle. He took pride in his role as a provider and was always willing to lend a hand to anyone, without expectations.
Stacey leaves behind his beloved wife, Michelle Wheeler; children, Amber Daniel, Annastasea (Josh) Durbin, Devin (Amanda) Daniel, Lea, Sophia, and Sara; stepchildren, Nick (Kristen) Ladd, Steven (Danielle) Day, and Michaela Lambrecht; brother, Randy (Cindy) Daniel, and Jerry (Leanne) Daniel; sister, Debbe (Buddy) Kegin; fifteen grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
