Staci Wianecki Obituary

Staci Lynn Wianecki, 48, of Mosinee, passed away peacefully under the loving care of St. Croix Hospice on Monday, September 22, 2025, at Weston Memory Care, surrounded by her devoted family. She was born on March 22, 1977, forever brightening the lives of her parents, Raymond and Betty (Cywinski) Wianecki.

Staci lived each day with a joy that was truly contagious. Her radiant smile, boisterous laugh, and loving heart brightened every room she entered. She had a gift for spreading optimism and happiness—when people saw Staci coming, they couldn’t help but light up. Whether sharing a joke, singing her famous birthday serenade, or offering one of her trademark hugs, Staci made everyone around her feel cherished and seen.

Despite the many health challenges she faced, Staci’s enthusiasm for life never wavered. She remained active through bowling, workouts at the YMCA, and Special Olympics, where she proudly demonstrated her determination and team spirit. She loved music, especially Reba McEntire, and cheered faithfully for the Green Bay Packers. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures—crafts, gardening, 4-H activities, summer campfires, and her annual trip to the fair, where she earned countless blue ribbons. Not only did Staci bring happiness to others through her joyful spirit she knit 100’s of hats that she donated to Milwaukee Children’s Hospital. For 14 and a half years, she worked at Walmart, where her warmth and friendliness left lasting impressions on both customers and coworkers.

At the heart of Staci’s life was her family. The unconditional love she both gave and received was evident to anyone who met her. In addition to her parents, siblings, and nieces, Staci shared a very special bond with her Aunt Ruthie, whose love and encouragement shaped many of her happiest moments.

Staci is survived by her parents, Ray and Betty Wianecki of Mosinee; her brother, Troy (Connie Randow) Wianecki of Stratford; her sister, Traci (David) Sondelski of Mosinee; and nieces, Riley (Garrett) Brown of Stevens Point and Bailey Sondelski of Wausau. She will be remembered always for her boundless optimism, her ability to make friends wherever she went, and the selfless love she gave so freely.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Alex and Francis Cywinski, her paternal grandparents, Felix and Stella Wianecki, and her beloved Aunt Bonnie.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:30 a.m., on Friday, Sept. 26, 2025, at St. Paul Catholic Church, Mosinee. The Rev. Aaron Becker will officiate. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m., until the time of service, all at the church. Beste Funeral Home, Mosinee, is assisting the family with arrangements.
