Stacy Ann (Hall) Baker was born and raised in Rose Bud, AR to EvaLena Vance Hall and Lester Shane Hall both of Vanndale, AR. She attended Rose Bud High School, ASU Beebe, and later ASU Searcy where she received her LPN degree.

Stacy loved to cook, sew and read. Unfortunately a victim of several chronic and autoimmune diseases that left her housebound she often said her love of books kept her sane.

Stacy was preceded in death by her four month old son, Jonathan Shane Burgess, her parents, grandparents and special brother in law Brad Simmons.

She is survived by her sister, Leslie Simmons, nephews Travis Holden and Tyler Holden, all of Rose Bud, an uncle George H. Vance of Wynne, her mother's longtime partner who Stacy thought of as a father Sherman Jackson of Quitman, and her very dear best friend and partner, Dale Newman of Heber Springs and their children Cheryl(Josh) Redinger of Heber Springs, Justin Dale Newman of Heber Springs, Shelly(Erik) Chapman of Quitman, and Felicia Newman of Bald Knob.

Visitation will be on Friday, December 19, 2025, from 6:00pm - 8:00pm at Powell Funeral Home in Searcy, AR. Graveside services will be conducted on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at 2:45pm, at Rose Bud Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Arkansas Children's Hospital or Ronald McDonald House.
