Stacy Carpenter Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Ellis Funeral Home & Cremation Service - Nashville on Dec. 31, 2025.
Stacy Leigh Carpenter, age 43, of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away on December 26, 2025. She was born on January 17, 1982, in Morganton, North Carolina.
Stacy was the beloved wife of Chanss C. Carpenter, with whom she shared 17 amazing years of marriage. Together they built a beautiful life and raised eight cherished children: Trevor, Montana, Lucian, Addison, Kadia, Trinity, Conner, and Arianna. Her family was the center of her world, and everything she did was rooted in love, dedication, and sacrifice for them.
She is also survived by her loving parents, George and Betty Tellefsen, and her siblings, Crystal, Amy, and George Jr., all of whom will forever treasure her memory.
Stacy was an extraordinary woman-strong-willed, detail-oriented, and deeply compassionate. She had a remarkable ability to balance family life while excelling professionally, serving as General Manager for seven businesses, five located at Fort Irwin, California, and two in Barstow, California. No matter the challenge, she handled her responsibilities with confidence, grace, and unmatched work ethic, always leaving every workplace better than she found it.
Known for her commanding presence, Stacy could enter a room and naturally take charge. She stood firmly for what she believed in, never hesitating to defend her values or those she loved. Despite her demanding career, she always put her family first, often raising their children on her own while supporting her husband's military career.
Stacy had many passions, including carpentry, roller derby, vacationing, and spending quality time with her family. A fierce competitor, she was recruited by the Kansas City State Roller Derby Team but selflessly declined the opportunity due to a military relocation-another example of her unwavering devotion to her family.
Above all, Stacy had a heart for others. She loved spoiling the people she cared about and was the greatest cheerleader for her children, supporting every dream and endeavor with pride and enthusiasm. Her strength, leadership, and love left an indelible mark on everyone who knew her.
Stacy Leigh Carpenter will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered for the powerful, loving presence she brought into every life she touched. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Stacy Leigh Carpenter, please visit our floral store.

I'm lost for words honestly. I've never met such an amazing genuine person. Although we only recently met I feel I've known her forever. And wish we could have got to hang out more. Such a wonderful family they all are. She will truly be missed. There's not a day that goes by that I don't think about Stacy. God is truly got a special angel. Until we meet again. Love ya my dearest friend.
