Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 25th at Historic Union Church at 4 pm with graveside immediately following at Union Cemetary. The Reverends Steve Patton, Jeremy Alexander, and Mark Sasser will be officiating. Stacy was born in Columbus, Georgia on December 24th, 1967 to the late William Bussey Hammack, Sr. and Charlotte Cosey Hammack. She graduated from Taylor County High School in 1986 and continued her education at Georgia Southwestern State University. Following college, she worked briefly in accounting before finding her true passion of teaching. She worked faithfully in the Taylor County School System for 30 years until her retirement.
In 1990, she married her high school sweetheart, Fred Stanford Jarrell, III (Stan). They spent 34 beautiful years together. All who knew Stacy knew that she was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother with a deep love for her family. One of her greatest joys was spending time with her family on the water. She could often be found near the river, beach, or pool. She also enjoyed sewing, listening to music, and tending to her pets.
She was a dedicated member of Historic Union Church in Butler, Georgia. She loved the Lord and was a devoted follower of Jesus Christ. She served Him through the church as children's church coordinator, treasurer, and Sunday school teacher.
She is survived by her husband, Fred Stanford Jarrell, III (Stan); daughter, Ansleigh Jarrell Spell and Billy Jack; daughter, Caitlyn Cosey Jarrell; granddaughter, Ada Charlotte Spell; brother, William Bussey Hammack, Jr. (Chip) and Vida; mother-in-law, Patricia Denton Jarrell (Patsy); sister-in-law Susanne Jarrell Carter and Jeff; aunt, Sylvia Cosey Swain; and many other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Historic Union Church.

Stacy was such a sweet person. I can´t believe she is gone. I first met her at John B. Amos, when she would come for labs, but soon realized she was from Butler, and we formed a connection because I also live in Butler. She always invited me to events in Butler, when she came through the lab, she was so kind. She fought the good fight, and she will surely be missed. I´m so sorry for your loss.
