Stacy Lee Maret, 60, of McCook, NE, passed away on August 09, 2025, in Farnam, NE.
Stacy was born on August 15, 1964, in Cambridge, NE, to Laverne and Georgia (Arrington) Maret. He grew up in Stockville, Ne. Before moving to Lebanon, Ne with his family.
Stacy attended school in Lebanon, also Job Corp for a short while in Chadron, Ne.
Stacy enlisted in the National Guards in 1983 and was a tanker for 7 years. He was a jack of all trades he enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, and spending time with his family
His proudest accomplishments were his kids. He loved to watch football and was a faithful Raiders fan.
Preceded in death by his parents, Laverne and Gene Maret, his son, Chance Maret, and nephew Bryce Maret.
Stacy is survived by a special friend, Rhonda Marsh (Farnam; his children Kacey Maret, Joshua (Jamie) Maret of Atwood, KS, India Rose Maret of McCook; Shalynn (Zachary) Zimbelman of Lincoln; Jesse Maret of McCook; 11 grandchildren: Ivy, Kemper, Eland, Jasmine, Cypress, Autumn, Sydney, Dreavin, Butters, Johnathon and Josiah; brother, Tracy Maret of Washington; Rodney (Frances) Maret of McCook; sisters, Kristy Maret of Bertrand; Nikki Maret of Willsonville.
Visitation will be held Monday, August 18, 2025 from noon until 2:00 PM at the Stockville Congregational Church in Stockville.
Funeral services will be held Monday, August 18, 2025; 2:00 PM at the Stockville Congregational Church in Stockville.
Burial will follow in the Arbor Cemetery Stockville, NE.
