Stamey Keith Oldham, 75, of Siler City, went home to be with the Lord on August 29th, 2024, at the hospice house in Pittsboro surrounded by family.

Keith was born July 19th, 1949, in Lee County to the late Exon and Jean Eva Williams Oldham. He is preceded in death by his parents; his son, Greg Oldham; his daughter, Michelle Booth; his brother, Anthony Oldham; his sister and brother-in-law, Sheila Blackmon, and Bobby Blackmon; and his sister-in-law, Geraldine Kirk.

Keith loved the beach and watching boats. He was especially proud of his family and his K-9 champion, Sunny Boy, and loved being at home spending time and making memories with them. In his earlier years, Keith worked at Chatham Foods. Keith was an outstanding automotive body man who worked alongside his late brother, Anthony at Fields Body Shop for over 30 years. Keith loved working in his yard and around the house. He took great pride in the upkeep of his home. He was loved by many and will be dearly missed by all that knew him. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Jane Smith Oldham of Siler City; his brother, Exon David Oldham of Siler City; his sister Rita Johnson and her husband, Cary Lee of Siler City; his son-in-law, Dave Booth and grandson, Dirk Booth of Julian; his sisters-in-law, Charlotte Testerman and her husband, Sam of Siler City, NC, and Ann Oldham of Siler City; and several nieces and nephews; and a special niece, Kelly Green “Boy”.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 4th, 2024, at 2 pm, at Community Baptist Church and burial will follow at Love’s Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. A visitation will be held Tuesday, September 3rd, 2024, from 6-8 pm at Smith & Buckner Funeral Home in Siler City. Services will be officiated by Reverend Mark Agan.
