Stanley Robert Bearden

Stanley Robert Bearden age 76 of Flat Rock, AL. died Sunday, March 8, 2026 at his residence. Funeral services are Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at 2 PM CT at Corner Stone Funeral Chapel with Bro. Robert Elliott officiating. Burial will follow in Payne Gap Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 5 to 8 PM CT on Monday and 12 Noon until service time on Tuesday.

Stanley was born March 6, 1950 in Dade County, GA. to parents Dwight and Margie Burgess Bearden. He was a 1968 graduate of Ider High School and had worked as an Operator and Supervisor for 42 years at Alco Chemical. He spent several years coaching and mentoring his sons and their teammates in baseball. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and Alabama Football. But his favorite times were spent with his family and grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Sandra Horton Bearden, sons, Robbie Bearden(Crystal), Rodney Bearden(Nicole), grandchildren, Hayden Wood, Braxton Wood, Mason Bearden, Maggie Bearden, Amelia Bearden, Nolan Bearden, Coleman Bearden, Kipton Bearden, Adaleigh Bearden, sister, Loretta Mullins(Buddy), mother-in-law, Bonnie Horton, along with several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
