Stanley Beezley Obituary
A memorial service celebrating the life of Stanley Marion Beezley, 70, of West Monroe, Louisiana will be held from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M., Sunday, December 28, 2025, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
Mr. Beezley was born on July 22, 1955, in San Fransisco, California and passed away on December 24, 2025, at St. Francis Medical Center.
Stan was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and talented local musician. He was best known for his left-handed guitar picking. He played guitar for over fifty years with the likes of local greats such as: Gigi Shinn, The Desperado’s, Monty Russell, Doug Duffey, Cocodrie, and that’s just to name a few. Stan was the sweetest soul and he will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and musical family.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Margie Mae Beezley; and brother, Johnny Beezley.
Those left to honor and cherish his family will be his beloved wife, Jodie Beezley; son, Matthew Beezley; stepdaughter, Savannah Vallery; stepson, Cody Vallery; grandchildren, Alexa Jennings and Shea Robertson; aunt, Marilyn Dumas; as well as a host of cousins and his large musician family.
In lieu of flowers please make a donation in honor of Stan’s memory to the local animal shelter, veteran’s organization, or a musician’s charity of your choice.
The family will host a celebration of life at a later date.
