Stanley George Borucki, 82, Springfield Missouri, formerly of Huntley, IL, passed away on the morning of June 27, 2024, at Cox Hospital in Springfield, MO.
He was born on July 13, 1941, to Joseph and Alice Borucki in Philadelphia, PA. A former member of the Army National Guard, he married Victoria (Braun) in December, 1968.
He was the President of Rockford Controls Company of Downers Grove, IL.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Joseph (wife Nancy), and beloved daughter Susan Borucki.
He is survived by his wife Victoria, his son Paul (and wife Melissa) and 4 siblings.
Stan had a strong sense of family, unmatched sense of humor, and many role model behaviors. Stan loved to read, travel, play cards / games, and socialize. He shared his time with friends, scouting, Sun City Polish Club, by supporting charitable organizations and an exclusive social circle of poker buddies. He always had a positive disposition, using it to reassure those around him and build them up during tough times. Always ready with a story or joke, he was always a welcome addition to any gathering, large or small. Although he will be missed by many, his impact on those will be everlasting, as will his legacy.

Visitation will be Friday, August 9, 2024, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at DeFiore Funeral Home, 10763 Dundee Road, Huntley.
Burial will be Saturday, August 10, 2024, at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Cemetery, 11500 Dean Street, Huntley.
