Stanley Brown, 75, of Gore, Oklahoma, passed away on January 5, 2025. He was born on April 8, 1949, to Betty Lou (McCoy) Brown and Willie Richard Brown.
Stanley was a devoted husband to Mary Lou (Kidd) Brown, whom he married on September 16, 1978, in Yukon, Oklahoma. He was a skilled carpenter and a faithful member of the Pentecostal faith.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Lou; four daughters: Angela Renee Davis of Ardmore, OK, Stacy Lynn Hensley of Calera, OK, Kally Brown of Gore, OK, and Kerry Brown of Norman, OK; eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; his brother, Melvin Brown and Lou, of Oklahoma City, OK; along with several other relatives and friends.
Stanley was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Virginia Asbill; his brother Gerald Brown; and one great-grandchild.
A memorial service for Stanley Brown will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, January 17, 2025 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma, under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
