Stanley John Byczynski, 82, of Toledo, went home to the Lord peacefully on, August 29,2024. He was born Sept. 29, 1941 in Toledo, Ohio to Chester and Lottie (Zdunek) Byczynski.
Stan lived an amazing Life. As a young boy he learned the values of hard work and self-sufficiency, traits that formed his personality and were interwoven into everything he accomplished throughout his life. He worked as a Millwright @ Chrysler for over 30 yrs. He married the Love of his life, Mary Meyers, 63 years ago and had 5 children together.
An Avid motorcycle and car enthusiast, Stan restored and rebuilt old classic cars. He was also a dedicated NASCAR fan. If it had an engine or a problem Stan could fix it. He could fix most anything. His garage was always open to neighborhood kids with car problems, as he was very generous with his time serving others in need. In retirement he could be found at K & K Body Shop with his good friend Mark Diebert and other car enthusiast friends.
He was preceded in death by his sister Dorothy and son Todd. He is survived by his wife Mary, brother Joseph, children, Julie and Robin Byczynski, Mark (Lorene), Scott (Kelli) Byczynski, grandchildren Steven (Kailyn), Luca, Jacob, Nicole, Chase, Sarah (Adam), Jonathon, Amanda, Joseph, 3 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
It is with special gratitude to Ohio Living Hospice, Selena and Ellen, and family members Robin and Nicole. In Lieu of flowers please consider giving to Ohio Living Home Health & Hospice, 1730 South Reynolds Rd., Toledo,, Ohio, 43614.
