Stanley L. Gerard

Stanley L. Gerard, 73 of Logansport passed away on Friday, March 14, 2025, at Hickory Creek of Peru.

Born on February 8, 1952, in Monon, he was the son of the late Russell and Blanch (Baer) Gerard.

Stanley attended Pioneer High School.

He was employed at Schwerman Trucking as a truck driver and later in life took up junking and mechanical work.

Stanley enjoyed playing cards, music, movies, most of all anything John Wayne and watching Nascar.

Survivors include his children, Megan Kinnaman (Roger), AnnMarie Bean, Brian Gerard (Kristy) and Charles Gerard (Hannah), brothers, Frank Gerard and Alvin Smith, sisters, Cora Lohrman and Bonnie VanMeter and grandchildren, Luke Zeider, Landon Zeider, Cambry Kinnaman, Layla Kinnaman, Brylan Bean, Carter Bean, Kennedy Gerard and Ellie Gerard.

He was also preceded in death by brothers, Lloyd Gerard and Kenneth Gerard, sister Pauline and grandchildren, Emma-Jayde Gerard Thomas and Trinity Grace Bean.

Services will be at 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at Rans Funeral Homes & Crematory, Harrison Chapel, 304 S. Chicago St., Royal Center. Pastor Ed Roller will officiate.

Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
