Stanley Giera Obituary

Stanley A. Giera, 72, of Spring City, passed away surrounded by love and laughter, just as he lived his life. A devoted father, brother, grandfather, and uncle. Stan was known for his big heart, quick wit, and generous spirit.
He was happiest outdoors-whether gathered around a campfire, casting a line while fishing, or enjoying the simple joy of feeding the squirrels. A true jokester with a contagious sense of humor, Stan never missed an opportunity to make someone smile. He loved playing cards, cheering on the Phillies, and lending a helping hand-always ready to say "yes" whenever someone needed him.
Born to the late Helen G. (Mendrey) Giera and stepson to the late Hazel Giera, Stan's warmth and kindness left a lasting mark on everyone who knew him.
He is lovingly survived by his daughters, Steffanie Neskie (Jon) and Danielle "DJ" Giera (Mark); his sisters, Christine Morris (Bob) and Kathleen McGee (Rick); his niece, Ashley Beutler (Nate); and his cherished grandchildren, Jenna, Laila, Samira, and Kylie.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Friday, November 7, at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, 3640 Schuylkill Road, Spring City, PA 19475. Visitation will precede the service from 9:30 to 11:00 AM at the church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Stan's memory to . Online condolences and donations can be made at www.sgsfuneralhome.com. All arrangements are being made by the Shalkop, Grace & Strunk Funeral Home.

We grew up together in same block of Chestnut Street in Spring City and didn't become close friends until we worked at ACME. We had fun after that. I'll miss you old friend
