Stanley Craig “Stan” Hutchison, 57, of Leesburg, IN passed away at 2:16 p.m. on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at Goshen Hospital. He was born on August 31, 1961 in Goshen, IN to Harold H. & Nancy Jean (Roth) Hutchison.
He was a lifetime Elkhart & Kosciusko County area resident and attended Fairfield High School. He was married on April 2, 2002 in Gatlinburg, TN to Kelly J. (Barth) Leer who survives. He was formerly employed at Borkholder Buildings & Supply in Nappanee for 30 years and at a veterinary poultry supply company.
He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion in Millersburg and formerly attended the Silver Street Mennonite Church in Goshen. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and family.
He is survived by:
Wife – Kelly Hutchison of Leesburg
Step Daughter Chelsea Leer of Fort Wayne
3 Step Sons – John Leer of Syracuse, Robert Leer of Milford, and Cody (Tiffany Jeffries) Leer of Syracuse
3 Step grandchildren
Parents – Harold & Nancy Hutchison of Goshen
3 Sisters – Debbie S. (Peter) Garber of Syracuse, Cathy J. (Greg) Yoder of New Paris, and Lisa A. (Steve) Kammerdiener of Millersburg
8 Nieces & Nephews and 6 Gt. Nieces & Nephews
Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd 15, Warsaw, IN. Visitation will be from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 10, 2019 Owen Family Funeral Home 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN. Memorial services will follow at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday in the funeral home with Pastor Dwayne Runkle of the Maple Grove Church of the Brethren in New Paris officiating.
Preferred memorials may be given to the Goshen Center for Cancer Care, 200 High Park Dr., Goshen,, IN 46526.
