Sarah "CJ" Ann Mischke, of Milford, tragically left this world following a motor vehicle accident on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at the age of 19. She was born on January 10, 2006, in Watseka, Illinois, the daughter of Dennis and Shirley Mischke(Tindle).
At just 19 years old, CJ had already made significant strides in her education and career, working as a senior caretaker for Senior Helpers, embodying her passion for helping others. When she graduated from Fairfield High School in 2025, CJ earned thirty college credits alongside her high school diploma. She held a criminal justice certificate and was a dedicated student at Ivy Tech Community College, where she was pursuing a degree in Radiology Technology.
CJ’s personality shone brightly; she was family-oriented, independent, and responsible, always going out of her way to be helpful to those around her. Her ability to inspire others, along with her love for life, brought joy to many. Known for her warm heart and welcoming nature, she loved everyone and formed deep connections with friends and family.
Her interests were as unique and vibrant as she was. CJ loved Hello Kitty and enjoyed listening to Slipknot. She also enjoyed celebrating Halloween, often using her creative makeup techniques to design memorable looks. She put those talents to use in theatre productions during high school, working as a makeup artist. Whether driving her white Hyundai or capturing funny moments through photos, CJ always found ways to express her creative spirit.
CJ is survived by her fiancé, Ethan McDougall; her brother, Randy (Ashley) Wells; her nephews, Beau Wells and Joseph Miller; her niece, Kayla Baughman; and her uncles, William Jr. (Liberty) Tindle, Norman Wells Jr. and Jake Bumgartner. She is further survived by many extended family members and friends who will carry her memory forward. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A Life Celebration for CJ is entrusted to Titus Funeral Home of Syracuse. Friends and family may gather on Saturday, November 29, 2025, from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm at the funeral home, 1001 S. Huntington St. Syracuse, IN 46567. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 pm with her uncle, William, officiating.
