Stanley Krajewski Obituary

Published by Richmond Times-Dispatch on Aug. 16, 2010.
KRAJEWSKI, Jr. Stanley Anthony "Stan," 69, of Midlothian, Virginia, died suddenly August 13, 2010. Born in Patterson, N.J., in 1941, he served in the United States Navy from 1959 until 1962. Stan received his bachelor's degree in accounting from Pennsylvania State University and received his MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University. He worked for United Water Resources and retired as Controller in 2000; he served the company as a consultant for several years following his retirement. Stan married Caryl Ann Keyes in 1968 and they had three daughters, Heather Lee Krajewski, Stacey Lynn Krajewski McKenna and Laura Ann Krajewski. Above all else, Stan was devoted to his family and was adored by them. He was a wise and loving patriarch and the rock of his family. He was cherished for his eccentric and hilarious wit, his uncommonly sharp and discerning mind, and the unfailingly steady and loving care he bestowed upon his family. In addition to his wife and daughters, Stan is survived by two grandchildren, Maggie McKenna and Charlie McKenna; his mother, Mary Krajewski; his sister, Helen Costolnick; his brother, Tom Krajewski; and his sons-in-law, Robb Moore, Sean McKenna and Scott Hite. He was preceded in death by his father, Stanley Anthony Krajewski Sr. The family will celebrate his life with a private memorial service at Bliley's Funeral Home. Those wishing to honor him are invited to do so through donations to the Prostrate Cancer Foundation (PCF), http://www.pcf.org.
