Stanley Mayle, a proud Vietnam War veteran and devoted family man, passed away on August 24, 2025, at the age of 75. He is survived by his loving wife, Loretta Mayle; his sister, Sharon Border; his brothers, David and Daryl Mayle; his niece, Michelle Mayle; his grandchildren, Lori, Tammy, Chuck, and Kenny; and his great-grandchildren, Bo and Michael. Born on 09/8/1949 in Zanesville Ohio, Stanley Mayle answered the call to serve his country during the Vietnam War, where he bravely served in the Army. His courage, commitment, and patriotism were evident throughout his military career, and he carried those values with him for the rest of his life. After returning from service, he settled in Tampa, Florida, where he continued to live with integrity and a strong sense of duty to his family and community. Stanley was known for his kindness, his unwavering support of his loved ones, and his 25-year dedication to Hillsborough County Sherriff's office. He was a man who deeply cherished his family, and his legacy will continue to live on through his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He was a mentor, protector, and source of strength, leaving a lasting impact on everyone who knew him. A viewing will be held on September 7th from 2pm to 4pm. And he will be buried the following day Monday September 8th, 2025, in Florida National cemetery. Stanley Mayle will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. He leaves behind a legacy of service, love, and devotion that will never be forgotten.
