Stanley Shilling Obituary
He was a graduate of Conemaugh Township High School with the Class of 1953. Stan obtained a bachelor's degree in business administration from Susquehanna University with the class of 1957. Stan enjoyed golfing, bowling, hunting, and collecting. He was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church. He was also a member of the Lion's Club, evening group.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley M. (Werner) Shilling of 66 years; three children, Stan Shilling and his wife Debbie of Chambersburg, Stuart Shilling and his wife Suzette of Sicklerville, NJ and Sheri Martin of Chambersburg. He has eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one surviving sibling, Curt Shilling and his wife Mary of Bradford, PA, and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, Stephen Shilling; son-in-law, Louie Martin; brother, Reverend Fred Shilling and two sisters, Ruth Haas and Barb Klepper.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are entrusted to SimpleChoice Cremation Services of Chambersburg. Online condolences may be expressed at simple-choicecremation.com.
