Stanley C. Malek, 86, of Crystal Lake, IL passed away April 4, 2024.

Stanley was born February 24, 1938, in Chicago, IL to the late Stanley and Teresa Malek.

Stan enjoyed his motorcycle, fishing on the Wolf River on his pontoon boat, shooting, golfing, and cheering for “Da Bears”. He was noted, famous and loved for baking his polish sweet bread, Kolacz.

Stan was a proud “grumpa” and great “grumpa”.

Stan survived by his is loving wife of 65 years, Joan Malek; children, Victoria Malek, Laura Malek, and David (Laura) Malek; grandchildren, Chas (Chrissy) Sima, Rachel (A.J.) Smoot, Alyssa Phelps, Kaila Phelps, Katie Malek, and Ian Malek; great grandchildren, Brady Sima, Maddox Sima, and Jude Smoot; sister, Wanda Senderak. He is preceded in death by his parents; Stanley, and Teresa Malek; brother, Henry Malek, and sister Evelyn Krawchuk.

Visitation is scheduled for May 4, 2024 at 10am until the time of the prayer service at 11am at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E Terra Cotta Ave, Crystal Lake, IL 60014.
