He was born January 15, 1949 in Apollo, PA to the late Thaddeus and Garnet (Nulph) Szymczak-Daub. Stanley grew up in the Lodi, Homerville, and West Salem area and attended Northwestern Schools. He entered the U.S. Army in August of 1968 and was honorably discharged 2 years later, receiving the National Defense Service Medal, and the Vietnam Service and Campaign Medals.
On October 10, 2008, he married Jo Ann Gallatin, she survives in addition to his siblings, Bernard Szymczak, Peggy Steele, Theda Gima, Ruth Dobbins and Mary Kabbage. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Melvin Nulph.
In abiding with Stanley's wishes, there will be no services held.
