Stanley A. Winkler

Stanley A, Winkler, age 78, of Rittman, formerly of Sterling, died Monday, February 24, 2025, at the Apostolic Christian Home in Rittman, following a period of declining health.
Stanley was born on December 1, 1946, in Wadsworth, Ohio, to the late Alvin and Estella (Marty) Winkler and graduated from Norwayne High School in 1967. He married Margaret Ann Beery on January 8, 1978, in Rittman and she survives.
He was employed by Morton Salt Co. in Rittman for 30 years, retiring in 2000. He was an active member of the Rittman Apostolic Christian Church and loved spending time with his family and reading the Bible.
Surviving in addition to his wife, is his son, Ryan (Holly) Winkler; daughter, Holly (Andy) Anschutz; four grandchildren, Abby, Ashley, Blythe and Wesley; two brothers, Ken (Flora Jane) Winkler and Andy Winkler; four sisters, Elizabeth (Veron) Landis, Marilyn (Dale) Uhler, Marge Rhoads and Brenda (Vic) Bauman; two sisters-in-law, Mary Jane Winkler and Sandy Rogers.
He was preceded in death by father, Alvin Winkler; mother, Estella Winkler; brothers, Glenn, Virgil, Ben, Ellis and Ricky Winkler; and sister, Janet Indermuhle.
Friends may call on Friday, February 28, 2025, at Auble-Gillman Funeral Home, 360 W. Sunset Dr., Rittman, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. on Saturday at the church.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at the Rittman Apostolic Christian Church, 10699 Steiner Rd., Rittman, with ministers of the church officiating. Burial will take place at the Apostolic Cemetery.
