Stark Coleman Obituary
Junior was born in Isom Branch West Virginia on February 16, 1936. He was the son of the late Stark Coleman Sr, and Ida Coleman. He was a retired gas driller and coal miner. He was a long time member of the Mt. Zion Old Regular Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years Margaret Coleman, his daughter Linda Farmer, his son Daniel Coleman, a grandson Hal Farmer along with 6 brothers and 4 sisters.
He left behind a family who loved him tremendously, a son Stark Jay (Tammy) Coleman of Bull Creek WV, daughter Donna (Richard) Bowen of Riverside, Alabama; grandchildren Shane and K.D Coleman, Brandi and Randy Wilson, Eric and Donna Farmer and Rebecca Coleman; great grandchildren Summer and Bryce Kirstein, Avri J. Coleman, Elise Margaret Farmer, Cayde Joseph Farmer, Eva N. Coleman and Nora Wilson.
Friends may visit with the family, Monday, December 29, 2025 after 6 o'clock pm at the Mt. Zion Old Regular Baptist Church at Bull Creek near Mohawk, WV.
Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at 11 o'clock with Elders Danny Hurley, Danny McCoy, Tarzan Justus, Steve Baker, George Thomason and Fred Bailey officiating at the Mt. Zion Old Regular Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Ida Coleman Cemetery in Isom Branch near Mohawk, West Virginia. Serving as pallbearers will be Family and Friends.
