Stella M. Boccio

Stella Marie Devola Boccio, of Erie, passed away on Friday, October 25, 2024 with her daughter Brenda by her side, holding her hand. She was born in Jeannette, PA, on June 6th to the late Andrew and Grace (Cintino) Devola.

Stella worked at GE, retiring in 1996.

Stella enjoyed going on shopping trips, watching movies, and playing bingo with her daughter and best friend Brenda. She also enjoyed working in the yard, going for rides, and had an obsession for anything blue. She was known for always being dressed to a "T".

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Anthony; daughter Toni; daughter-in-law Mary Alice; and her beloved grand puppies Sydney and Madison She was also preceded in death by five brothers, one sister, and a grandson.

She leaves behind her daughter Brenda (John Shorts); her son Dan; her beloved grand puppy Harper; one sister; three grandchildren and several great and great-great grandchildren.

Friends are invited to call on Tuesday, October 29th at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. and may attend a Funeral Mass on Wednesday at Saint Stephen Church, 1237 West 21st Street, at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
