Stella Ann Carrillo

Stella Carrillo was born on February 1, 1933 in Redlands, California to Pete and Della Regalado.
She was one of 11 children. She attended Franklin Elementary School, Redlands Jr. High, and Redlands High School. After High School, Stella worked at Robinhood, a clothing store in town. In April of 1957, she married Albino Carrillo and they were married for 64 years until his death in February 2022.
Stella was a room mother for her daughters' classes and supported them in their education and all extracurricular activities. She was their first teacher. Stella was a lifelong member of St. Mary's Church (now Holy Name of Jesus). She taught baptismal classes and helped in the church pantry and served food at the weekly church kitchen. She also helped at the Lugonia Healthy Start distributing food.
Stella loved gardening, reading, and spending time with her family. Stella was a strong woman who always protected and supported her family and did all that she could to make them happy. She was a loving and caring daughter, wife, mother, sister and aunt.
Stella was preceded in death by her husband Al and her daughter Susan. She is survived by her daughter Diane, her sisters Pat Gonzales and Carol Nava as well as her sisters in law, brothers in law, several nieces and nephews and her beloved dog Buddy.
