Stella Allene Holley Case

 

Stella Allene Holley Case, 91, of Marion, North Carolina, passed away Sunday morning, June 18, 2023 at Deer Park Health and Rehabilitation.

 

A native of Kingsport, Tennessee, Stella was born February 11, 1932 to the late Bryan Orman Holley and Thelma Beatrice Sanders Holley.

 

Stella was a very hardworking woman who worked for many years at both Clinchfield and East Marion cotton mills. She later enjoyed packing food for the local Meals on Wheels program. She was a great cook, and she will be remembered for her love toward her family and her neighbors. She received joy by helping others.

 

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Lonzo Lee Case; daughter, Martha Venable; and nine siblings.

 

She is survived by four children, David Case (Debbie), Sheila Blasko (Joe), Bryan Case, and Doris Proctor (Stanley) and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

 

In accordance with her wishes, burial will be private at McDowell Memorial Park.
