Stella Francis Harkleroad, 95, of Kingsport, TN passed away on August 19, 2025. Stella was born in Sullivan County and attended Sullivan West High School. She went on to nursing school and then began practicing at Holston Valley Community Hospital where she retired after a life-long career. Stella always loved being with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Paris Marshall and Dolly Burke Marshall; son, Gary Michael Harkleroad; brothers, Ezra Marshall, Harvey Marshall and Kyle Marshall.
Survivors include her children, Rick Harkleroad and Susan Seals, Larry and Pam Harkleroad, Pam and Paul England; grandchildren, Penny Harkleroad, Leighya Harkleroad, Amber and Gurnee Barrett, Scotty and Jessica Harkleroad, Jay and Stacie Conkin, Wyatt and Lauren England and Erin England; great-grandchildren, Dorian Anthopolos, Christopher Anthopolos, Nathan Harkleroad, Michael Rhoten, Dacoda Harkleroad, Leighton Barrett, Mary Conkin, Eli England and Evie England.
Graveside services will be conducted on Friday, September 5, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Oak Hill Memorial Park with Will Lawson officiating.
