Stella Teston Obituary
Mrs. Teston was born December 8, 1939 in Miami, FL to the late Eugene Gibson Newham and the late Annie Mae McKinney Newham. She was a member of Satilla Free Will Baptist Church and loved to collect recipes and write her own recipe books. She was preceded in death by her husband, Julian W. Teston.
Survivors include her daughter, Pam Anderson (Greg) Davis of Hazlehurst; sons, Gene (Lisa) Anderson of Hazlehurst, Terrell (Cheryl) Anderson of Hazlehurst, and Tony Teston of Douglas; grandchildren, Ashley Anderson of Albany, KY and Warren Davis of Jacksonville, FL and great granddaughter Jaston Anderson of Albany, KY. A special family friend, Peggy Hall, and beloved dog, Skeeter, also survive.
Graveside Services will be held Thursday, April 18, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Burkett Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in West Green with Rev. Justin McLellan officiating.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday April 17, 2024 from 6 PM until 8 PM in the Chapel of Swain Funeral Home.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
